Ring Surf . This net ring helps you to find sites with related subjects.

Blogrunner is a portal for blog content. It has an index and entries are grouped together according to topics and news stories.

Google also has a searchable weblog directory

Technorati is another blog searcher that also allows you to trace who's linked to a particular blog. In addition, Techorati tracks the number of blogs linked to a blog.

They fall into five categories, including Presidential Race and Domestic Politics; Foreign Policy;National Security and Terrorism;Economic Issues; and Domestic and Social Issues.

BOOKFAIR: Planning to buy books or magazines this weekend? Shopping for the holidays? You can benefit public libraries at the same time! In a unique partnership with the State Library of North Carolina and the North Carolina Public Library Directors Association, Barnes & Noble Booksellers will hold voucher bookfairs in their North Carolina stores Friday and Saturday, October 24th-25th to benefit all North Carolina Public Libraries. More than $7,000.00 was generated from the bookfairs in 2002. Funds raised by these bookfairs help public libraries purchase new books and continue to offer the full range of their educational and community outreach programs. Vouchers must be presented at the time of purchase on Friday or Saturday, October 24th and 25th for a percentage of the sale to benefit the libraries. Stop by the News Library to get a copy of the voucher to take with you, or email me (dlamb@news-record.com) and I will email the voucher to you.
