The Newsroom Navigator is the stop for info reporters, bloggers and anyone with an interest in researching on the Web can use.

Its primary intent is to give the news staff a solid starting point for a wide range of journalistic functions without forcing all of them to spend time wandering around to find a useful set of links of their own.

National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza

In November, the White House released their strategy for dealing with a bird flu pandemic. Here is what you as individuals can do:
  • Taking precautions to prevent the spread of infection to others if an individual or a family member has symptoms of influenza.
  • Being prepared to follow public health guidance that may include limitation of attendance at public gatherings and non-essential travel for several days or weeks.
  • Keeping supplies of materials at home, as recommended by authorities, to support essential needs of the household for several days if necessary.
